Dec 18, 2022 · I've have the VTM-4 light come on when the engine had a fouled plug. My impression is that several systems work together and a problem in one system can cause another to misbehave also. My solution has been to buy an inexpensive reader tool and keep it in the car so if a problem shows it's self I can read it on the road and reset it as needed.
