A friend's Grom has me confused. He went on vacation for 10 days and when he came back, his Grom would not start immediately. I watched it several times do this. Basically, he hit the start button and held it. It cranked, but wouldn't actually run. He had to hold the starter button for maybe 5-7 seconds and twisted the throttle before it started.
