This happens to me around 36/37 I'll walk around 3 or 4 cm open but no water break it contractions and I end up having my babies around 37.5 or 38 weeks the latest (4th pregnancy here) I get the epidural the moment I get there by choice since I know I have rapid labor then they usually have time ..., The biggest sign that the bloody show has occurred is you may notice a bloody mucus discharge from your vagina. In some cases, there are no signs. Some women experience other symptoms of labor with a bloody show: Cramping: You may feel period-like cramps that come and go over the course of hours or even days., Dilation means nothing unless you are in labor. It could be days or weeks. I've been 4cm dilated since 36 weeks. 38+3 now and still no progress ‍ . With my 2nd, I was 1cm at 35 weeks. I birthed spontaneously at 40+6. It's whenever your body decides it's time., I am 38 weeks 1 day and doctor did cervix check today and said I am 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced - does this mean that labor is potentially coming soon?? I've heard of people that are dilated for weeks though…just curious to hear other peoples experiences/opinions!
